Additional Info: Choice of 6 speed manual or 6 speed DSG auto box. The 280 Leon Cupra uses the same engine found in the Golf R and Audi S3 and comes with a locking differential, adjustable dampers, variable-ratio steering, 19″ alloys, big brakes, gloss black exterior trim, rear roof spoiler, bucket seats and the same nice additions as the 265 Leon. The 261bhp Leon SC Cupra (265) has a 0-60 time of 5.7 secs, get’s 18″ alloy wheels, full-LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, DAB radio, and Cupra-specific styling details including a perforated leather steering wheel, sports seats trimmed in Alcantara, and Cupra-branded sills. The 2016 model now has 285bhp, gets to 60 in 5.5 seconds and is available as a coupe, hatchback and estate. Also released in 2016 is a Sub8 Performance Pack, which adds bigger brakes, specially-designed 19-inch alloy wheels in either black or orange and body-coloured side skirts. From March 2017 you can get the 300PS Cupra, which also comes with AWD and a DSG gearbox in the ST (estate) version. |
