Additional Info: The Megane 265 Trophy is essentially the same as the Megane 250 Cup, only with 15bhp and 15ft-lbs more, Recaro seats with yellow seatbelts, 19″ black alloys, high performance Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres and a gloss black roof which is an optional extra. In 2011 this Megane broke the FWD lap record around the Nurburgring track and produced a time of 8 mins 8 secs. Just 500 will be built, with 50 coming to the UK. 2012 Cup now with the 265bhp engine. July 2015 see’s the 275bhp version released (0-60 in 5.8 for the Cup S and Trophy, while the lighter Trophy R gets to 60 in 5.6 seconds). 2019 Megane RS with 300hp available, see more here. |
