Additional Info: The engine above is the Ram Air IV with a number of upgraded engine parts. The 350hp 400 was still available and the 400 HO was now rated at 366hp. Incidently an aftermarket Ram Air V was also built with a 0-60 time of 5.2 secs. The Judge model had a rear spoiler, added decals, wider tyres and a hurst shifter. |

Additional Info: The 455 HO’s 360hp power rating was said to be conservative. In 1971 the GTO could be had with a 300hp 400, a 325hp 455 or a 335hp 455 HO which was standard in the Judge. last year for the Judge was 1971. In 1972 the GTO went back to being an option with the Pontiac Le Mans and had a 250bhp (net rating) with either the 400 or 455 and a 300bhp 455 HO. 1973 engine options were a 230bhp 400 and a 250bhp 455. 1974 was the 3rd generation of the GTO and was now an option on the Pontiac Ventura with a 200bhp 350, which was road tested with a 0-60 time of 7.7 secs and 1/4 mile time of 15.7. |
