Additional Info: In 1988 the first Mi16 had 150bhp and could get to 60 in 9 secs. In 1989 the power was increased to 160bhp (see above), also a 4×4 was introduced, which with it’s added weight gave a 0-60 of 9.5 secs, 1/4 mile in 17.1 and a top speed of 133 mph. Some minor changes in 92/93 lowered the power to around 150-155bhp and 0-60 was now around 9 secs again. A 155bhp 2.0 (1998cc) was also available until 1995. A 197bhp 405 T16 was available in LHD only and is essentially an Mi16 4×4 but with a turbo, 0-60 in around 7 secs, 1/4 mile of 14.9, 0-1km in 27.8 secs and a top speed of around 140mph. |
