Additional Info: Built between 1978-1982 as the Monza A1 with chrome bumpers and 1982-1987 as the Monza A2 with plastic colour coded bumpers. The Opel Monza name was also used on saloon cars in other countries, while it was the coupe version of the Opel Senator here in the UK. Also there were various engine options available in different countries such as a 115bhp 2.0, a 113bhp 2.2, a 136bhp 2.5, a 138bhp 2.8 and a 148bhp carburetted 3.0 (0-60 in 9.3 and 123mph). The 1984 GSE had recaro seats, an LCD dash and LSD. |
