Additional Info: The Murena was built between 1980-1983 and features, a fibreglass body, a galvanized steel chassis, 3 seats in a row, a mid mounted engine and had a Cd of just 0.328. Also available was a 92hp 1.6 (0-60 in 11.7, 1/4 mile in 17.7 secs, 0-1km in 33.3 secs, 113mph top speed) and if you wanted more power, Matra later offered a tuning kit for the 2.2 litre engine that saw 142bhp/138lbft, calling it the Talbot Matra Murena S (0-60 in around 8.3 secs, 1/4 mile in 15.6 secs, 0-1km in 29.1 secs, 130mph top speed). |
