Additional Info: Originally produced from 1965-1970 by Marcos, then 1974-1981 by D & H Fibreglass Technologies Ltd and again from 1991-1995 by Marcos due to demands from Japan. Another return to production in 2005 was also made and is known as the Marcos Heritage Mk VI and Mk VI GT. Many were still built by enthusiasts inbetween these years as it was available in kit form. There are many variations spread over the 6 Marks. Powered by the Mini A-series engines (848cc, 998cc, 1098cc, 1275cc and 1380cc), note: some larger engines were also fitted. It was the only British car to finish the 1966 Le Mans and also has 4 British land speed records in it’s class of car/engine. |
