Additional Info: The Evora can be optioned with 2 seats (2+0), but is infact built as the worlds first 2+2 mid engined car. The pre-production orders have a number of celebrity buyers from film stars, singers, politicians and TV presenters, including Jay Kay, Jay Leno and even James May and Richard Hammond from Topgear. From 2011 to 2015 the Evora S (supercharged) was released with 345bhp/295lbft getting the car to 60 in 4.6 secs and onto a top speed of 172mph. Evora 400 released in 2015 with a 400bhp supercharged engine, that gets it to 60 in 4.1 seconds and onto a 186mph top speed, in 2017 a carbon pack was added as an option. Evora 410 released in 2016 with 410bhp and a 70kg weight saving over the 400, with a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds and top speed of 190mph (more here). Incidentally there is a 50th anniversary 400 Hethel Edition with some iconic colour scheme choices and personalisation options and a 410 GP Edition here and a 410 Esprit S1 version here. In 2017 Lotus released the GT430 with 430hp which can be seen here and here. |
