Additional Info: 0-60 times vary from 4.6 to 5.2 depending on source. The 8 speed auto also has a manual style paddle shift with throttle blips. Much development has been carried out with this car which features Brembo brakes, cross drilled discs, uprated and lowered suspension and Lexus’ Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system (which essentially takes management of the car for maximum performance). Available in Japan in 2007 and the rest of the world in 2008. Has been round the Top Gear test track in 1:26.9. Note: The quad pipes are not attached to the exhaust system. For those who want a more aggressive look, there’s Toyota Racing Department’s ‘Club Performance Accessory Package’, which adds magnesium forged wheels, a carbon hood, a front and rear spoiler, a rear diffuser, various interior mods, as well as a uprated sports suspension and brakes, titanium exhaust and mechanical LSD. |
