Additional Info: The Commodore has been around for a long time and the SS has been in the line up since 1982 and originally used a 4.2 litre V8. Numerous variants and engines were used over time, but we’re concentrating on the latter ones here. Of which there was a 2000-2002 (VX) 301bhp/339ft-lbs 5.7 litre SS, a 2002-2004 (VY) 320-328bhp/343ft-lbs 5.7 litre SS, a 2004-2006 (VZ) 354bhp/376ft-lbs 6.0 litre SS and the 2006-2009 (VE) above (6 speed auto also available). Also to note is the SS-V with different exterior and interior features. |
