Additional Info: G4 production started in 1961 as the series 1, series 2 started in 1963 and series 3 in 1966. Engine choices were Ford engines ranging from 1000cc – 1650cc (40-100bhp), the original production ended in 1969. A few series 4 cars came out around 1981-1985. In 1989/90 30 G4’s were built with mainly 1700cc Kent engines. |

Additional Info: The G4 has since made a come back with an 1800cc (130-150bhp) Ford Zetec engine or a 2.0 litre (165-195bhp) Ford Zetec engine and is very popular for track day use. Competition cars produce 230bhp. These are available through Dare UK. |
