Additional Info: The 6th gen Mustang gets a lower, wider stance with a reduction in roof height, and wider rear fenders and track and all models get a fully independent rear suspension setup. There’s also a convertible for those that like to go topless. The 5.0 V8 in Europe has 419bhp/390lbft, while the USA version has 435BHP/400lbft. There are also various optional packs and limited editions. Other engine choices include a 310bhp 2.3 litre 4 cylinder Ecoboost Turbo and a 300bhp 3.7 V6. Shelby also do a 525bhp 5.2 litre V8 GT350 and a Shelby GT350R Mustang . It is also now available globally, including in right hand drive. Power increased to 435bhp for the 5.0 GT in 2017, along with the new GT convertible being added to the line-up. 3.7 to be discontinued after 2017.
