Additional Info: Lots of aerodynamic innovations built into this car, with an Aero Bridge that uses the bonnet to generate downforce and active brake cooling, with opening and closing vanes. This gives the F12 a Cd of just 0.299. It’s also packed full of the latest technological innovations and has a carbon-ceramic braking system, stability control, ESC, high performance ABS, F1 traction control, electronic differential and magnetorheological damping control. Ferrari reports that the F12berlinetta is capable of lapping the Fiorano test circuit in 1 minute, 23 seconds; 1.0 second faster than the 599 GTO, 1.9 seconds faster than the Enzo Ferrari, 2.0 seconds faster than the 458 Italia and 3.5 seconds faster than the 599 GTB. In 2014 a one off special called the F12 TRS was built for a customer as an extreme, two-seater, open-top sports barchetta and is based on the F12. |
