Additional Info: The 3rd generation Challenger was introduced in 2008 after a 25 year break from production. Various classic styling options available, such as R/T stripes, Torq Thrust wheels and classic paint colours. Also available for the R/T are various other packages such as the “Track Pak” option, which adds a Tremec manual transmission, a limited slip differential and self-leveling rear shock absorbers. The 5.7 litre Hemi has some engine updates in 2011, with power remaining at 375bhp. In 2014 3 scat packages were added that offered numerous performance upgrades. Also in 2014 the Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker was introduced with a functional “Shaker” hood, running the 5.7 litre Hemi. And if that isn’t enough the Shaker can be ordered (limited run of 100) as the Mopar ’14 Challenger, with any combination of the 3 Scat Packages and a Bright White or Gloss Black exterior paint and Mopar stripes. In 2017 the Challenger GT was released with a 305bhp 3.6 litre V6 and AWD for all weather driving. |
