Additional Info: Originally shown at the 2001 Geneva Auto Show for release in 2003. Production actually started in 2005 due to top speed stability issues. The Gran Sport has a targa top. The 2010 Veyron Super Sport set a new world record for the fastest road going car with a top speed of 268mph with its 1183bhp/1106lb-ft engine. The SS also recorded the fastest time around the Top Gear track (at the time) of 1.16.8 compared to the old time of 1.18.3. |
