Additional Info: Limited to 155mph, but Audi can increase this to 174mph. Uses the S tronic transmission which can be left in full auto or used with the selector or even paddle shift on the steering wheel. Has a centre differential that allows the power to be distributed between the front and rear axle and by quite some difference, combined with torque vectoring on individual wheels and you get great traction and cornering ability. 2nd generation released in 2016 with an all-new RS5 Coupe with a lighter 2.9 litre V6 twin turbo engine producing the same power as the 4.2 V8 at 444bhp and features an 8 speed auto gearbox getting it to 60 on 3.7 seconds. 2018 has the new Carbon Edition seen: here. |
