| Additional Info: The 2.0 GTi is also available with the DSG automatic transmission. Other engines worth a mention are the 160bhp 1.4 TSi GT that gets to 60 in 7.7 secs and the 170bhp 2.0 TDI GTD that gets to 60 in 7.8 secs. Asia also get a 245bhp Golf GTi V50 that uses the same 2.0 engine, but has a stage 1 ECU, upgraded exhaust and more, which gets the Golf to 60 in just 5.4 secs. To celebrate 35 years of the Golf GTi in 2011, VW have also built the Edition 35 with 232bhp and a 0-60 time of 6.5 secs. |
