  • The first Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluziones have reached their destination
  • Exciting performance is guaranteed by the 1.4 T-Jet engine boosted to 215 HP and a weight of 920 kg
  • Modified chassis, power unit and electrical system
  • On your marks for the 2014 season: the Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europa begins on 19 April at France’s Le Castellet circuit

The first 23 Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluziones have been delivered to the Abarth plant in Turin, ready to compete alongside the Abarth 500 Assetto Corses and the Abarth 695 Assetto Corses in the 2014 Trofei Abarth Championships.

The Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione is not only a car, but also a genuine upgrade kit for current 695 Assetto Corses, and of the vehicles delivered to the teams, 10 are new, while the remaining have been updated by Abarth engineers, to ensure identical performance for every driver.

The new Evoluzione version offers a more powerful engine, the 1.4 T-Jet, boosted from 200 to 215 HP at 5250 rpm, with a different, more “racing” power curve.

Playing their part in the vehicle’s unprecedented performance are the reduction in weight down to 920 kg (20 kg less), the steel front suspension arms that can be dismantled, the 1.4 T-Jet engine with different configuration (specific management software and timing) and cooling and intercooler layout, the new electrical architecture with control units relocated to the inside of the passenger
compartment and windscreen with thermal defroster.

The Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione has undergone numerous tests, proving itself to be decidedly higher performing than the previous model, and offering the driver an even more professional driving experience.

With this exceptionally high performing vehicle, which will accompany the Abarth 695 Assetto Corses and Abarth 500 Assetto Corses on some of the most prestigious race tracks, Abarth stands to once again take centre stage as the star of the 2014 season, starting from the very first event at France’s Le Castellet circuit on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April.

“The Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione” – said Marco Magnanini, Abarth Head of EMEA, upon the delivery of the vehicles to the teams – “is Abarth’s most technologically advanced and high performing racing vehicle today”.
