After a hugely successful inaugural event in 2014, the organisers of the London Motor Film Festival have announced the 2015 festival awards and screening event will be held once again at the Clapham Grand Theatre on the evening of Sunday 29th of November. As an unashamed spectacle and celebration of the art of automotive film-making, the LMFF offers recognition and reward for film-makers at every single level of their craft, from talented upcoming self shooting directors, television and online automotive journalists, through to the most accomplished of corporate agencies. As long as the subject has a whiff of high-octane about it, almost any film submission is welcome.
As with the 2014 event, the LMFF sets out to be an entirely inclusive event, recognising not only directorial and production talent, but also cameramen, artists, creative and technicians. It sets out to showcase and present an eclectic and unparalleled canon of the most wonderful automotive films and shorts, but also to allow industry talent – of all levels, ambitions and abilities to mix and mingle in a fabulously relaxed atmosphere that engenders networking and collaboration.
Submissions are invited on the following categories:
Best Drama Film – This category is aimed towards films containing narrative aspects.

Judging these films will be an equally diverse and accomplished set of judges. Between them, Film veteran Jacques Steyn, Porsche collector and designer, Magnus Walker, Emmy award-winning director Bill Holshevnikoff, award-winning film maker Zac Assemakis and the multi-talented event guru, creative and designer Maximillion Cooper will be sifting through the entries judging on several criteria, including Cinematography, Editing, Titles & Visual Effects, Scoring & Sound Design and ultimately, Content, Originality & Impression.
The screening is held on the UK’s largest sports screen and in glorious high definition and spectacular sound.
Commenting on the 2015 event, LMFF co-founder Al Clark said, “We created The London Motor Film Festival in order to recognise the simply amazing work happening in the automotive film making sector. It’s a relaxed and fun evening, but we’re here to shine a light on real talent, whether that’s an aspiring student film, a manufacturer’s commercial or even an internet short. Our industry creates such wonderful content, and this evening allows us all to be inspired, to meet new contacts and make new friends, but most of all, to be entertained by some truly wonderful film-making. Already, some the entries we have seen are proving to be fantastic and I really think this year will be a night to remember.”
