| Additional Info: Designed by Caroll Shelby, most Series 1's were built in 1999 and then a few in 2005. Many complications in the building of this car due to several factors, including US federal rules for a newly designed car, Caroll Shelby's ill health and prototype design/build problems, but the end result is a true sports car for the enthusiast. A supercharged version (500bhp) is also available with larger brakes and a heavy duty clutch (0-60 in around 3.2 secs). |
