Various engine options throughout it's production history include a 35bhp 1.1, a 44-60bhp 1.3, a 55-70bhp and 100-110bhp 1.5, a 60-95bhp and a 105-115bhp 1.6 and a 130bhp 2.0. Also to note are the 2.0 race versions: 140bhp GS and 155bhp GT (0-60 under 7 secs). An example of performance from others were: 0-60 in 11.5 secs for the 90bhp 1.6. The Porsche Speedster is also popular with the kit car industry and there are many replicas about. |
