Additional Info: The Zolfe is the work of the ex-technical director of Caterham, Jez Coates and entrepreneur Nic Strong. The Zolfe has been put together by several companies that include Stadco, MTCE, AP Racing, Simpact, Powertorque Engineering, Avon Tyres and KN Engineering. It’s a back to basics car, with little in the way of comforts, however it’s designed to be a lightweight road legal track car and has a 2.3 litre Ford Duratec engine with power options between 180-300bhp. Several models are available, offering various options depending on intended use or preference. The USA’s choice of engine is a 2.0 Mazda unit with 170bhp on tap. |
