Brief History About Westfield
Westfield Sportscars was founded in 1982 in England by Chris Smith. The company offers their cars in both kit form or turnkey.
Their original cars were/are built in a similar, but not the same style/design and construction idea as the Caterham 7, although they do and have built other style cars also.
In December 2006 Potenza Sports Cars bought Westfield Sportscars. Potenza also bought GTM cars and merged the 2 companies.
In June 2009 Westfield became the first Niche Vehicle Manufacturer to be awarded European Small Series Production Status with its Sport Turbo model.
