Brief History About Toniq
Toniq Sports Cars Limited was founded in 2003 in the UK by Colin Williams. Colin is a car designer and has worked for many car manufacturers and design studios, including TVR and MARCOS Engineering. The company took over Stuart Taylor Motorsport, who had shown a prototype lightweight sports car at the Donington Show.
The first car they built was the Toniq R, with a Lotus 7 style chassis in 2003, which was available in kit form or turnkey ready.
Further development of the car using the latest 3D modelling, created an easy to build and precise sports car, with a cutting edge chassis design, creating the 2011 Toniq CB.
