Additional Info: First shown at the 1977 Frankfurt Motor Show. One of, if not the first real mass produced turbocharged car sold to the public. The 99 Turbo was originally available with 3 doors as a combi coupe hatchback and then also as a limited run 5 door later on in 1978. A 2 door version was also built for rally homologation. The Turbo S got water injection adding some 15+bhp. |
