Brief History About Reliant
Reliant was founded in 1935 in England by Tom Williams.
The company was originally setup to build 3 wheeled vehicles when the company they worked for (Raleigh) stopped making them in 1934.
Reliant built a number of unusual vehicles, but some of their most popular cars, other than the 3 wheeled vehicles, was the Scimitar GT/GTE/GTC and Scimitar SS1/SST/Sabre.
During the 90’s the company went into receivership and was bought several times, until production of any Reliant vehicles came to an end in 2002.
