Brief History About Pegaso
Pegaso (ENASA) was founded in 1946 in Spain and was a state owned company. Primarily involved in building trucks, buses, tractors and armoured vehicles, they decided in the 50’s to take on the well known engineer and designer, Wifredo Ricart who built the no expense spared Z102 to a very high standard and then later the Z103.
Unfortunately by 1960 due to the high costs in building these cars and some accidents during some motorsport events, the company decided to stop car making and concentrate on their commercial automotive manufacturing.
