Additional Info: The Mk1 ran from 1976-1978 and the Mk2 from 1978-1982, note there were significant differences between the Mk1 & Mk2, namely the Mk2 had a purpose built box section chassis. Uses a Vauxhall Magnum/Viva 2.3 litre engine. A 178bhp turbo version (from 1978) was also made available (only around 10 made). Also to note is a DTV version (Dealer Team Vauxhall), which had a big valve head, high lift cam, four branch manifold and twin carbs, along with the turbo version it also had a 5 speed manual gearbox (0-60 in around 6 secs and 125mph top speed. |
