Additional Info: Production ran from 1962-1980 with many year to year changes, both in terms of the exterior, interior and performance (depending on options chosen, vehicle weight and whether the car was destined for the US market). The GT coupe was introduced in 1965 as a 2+2 and was a bit heavier than the roadster, it also had a taller windscreen than the roadster. In 1967 the Mk2 was introduced with changes to the gearbox ratio’s and floorpan, other changes were made during Mk2 production years. The Mk3 was introduced in 1972 with a new interior and fascia. New rubber bumpers replaced the chrome ones later on. |
