Additional Info: The TF had a number of engine options ranging from a 114bhp 1.6 litre engine (0-60 in 9.2 secs), a 118bhp 1.8 litre engine (with CVT Transmission, 0-60 in 9.7), a 135bhp 1.8 litre engine (0-60 in 8.2 secs) and the 157bhp 1.8 litre engine as above. The improved suspension and stiffer chassis are just a few of the improvements carried out over the previous MGF. The FT was relaunched by the now Chinese owned company as the MG TF LE500 in 2009, but only with the 135bhp 1.8 engine we believe. Re-production only lasted until December 2010 due to low demand. |
