Brief History About Isuzu
Isuzu Motors was founded in 1916 in Japan and was formed by the joining of several companies, including Wolseley Motors Limited in 1918.
Isuzu are primarily a commercial vehicle and diesel engine manufacturer and supply or have supplied engines to many of the worlds largest car makers. They have also on many occassions built cars and 4×4’s for consumers. One such car was the Piazza Turbo (Isuzu Impulse) designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, which got great reviews at the 1979 Tokyo Motor Show.
