Brief History About Isdera
Isdera was founded in 1981 in Germany By Eberhard Schulz. Isdera is a small low volume styling, design and race engineering company, who hand build their cars to order.
Previous to the company formation, Eberhard produced a replica Ford GT40 (Erator GTE) in 1969, worked for Porsche and built the concept car called the CW 311, which was designed for Mercedes in 1978. The CW 311 was later to be used for the basis for his own cars to be built under the Isdera name.
Since the beginning, Isdera have been a quiet car builder and rare sight, who work closely with Mercedes and therefore use many of their parts.
