Additional Info: Has a new exterior design reminiscent of the original design and now made from carbon fibre and aluminium. The bodywork also gets functional vents/scoops. Stability control is now fitted as standard, which can be switched on and off. A Track Package can also be added, which includes ultra high performance Pirelli Corsa tyres, two piece brake rotors and lightweight 18″ wheels. Comes as a standard SRT or as a GTS, the later adding Venom alloys and with the ability to have sport or track stability control. In 2015 the SRT Viper was renamed the Dodge Viper GTS and got a 5hp increase and also added a GTC model. For those wanting a more track focused Viper, there is the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR (American Club Racer) – read more here. 2017 will be the 25th anniversary of the Viper and final year of production with numerous limited edition models. |
