Additional Info: The 21 uses the Super 7 chassis and it’s running gear and ran from 1995-2000. Available with a 1.6 Rover K-Series engine producing 113bhp (0-60 in 6.4 secs) or 136bhp as a Supersport (above). Also various 1.8 VVC Rover K-Series engines were added, like the 160 VVC and a 1.8 VHPD (Very High Performance Derivative) with 190bhp (0-60 in 4.5 secs) and also a 2.0 Vauxhall engine. Other engines were also fitted, as well as many being modified with numerous non supplied engines. Racing versions exist such as the GT/GTO with 230bhp/155ft-lbs from it’s 1.8 litre engine, top speed is around 150mph and 60 comes up in 3.8 secs and 100mph in 9.5 secs. There were less than 50 21’s built. |
