Brief History About Carver
Carver’s beginnings started in 1990 by A. van den Brink in the Netherlands. The idea was to build a small safe vehicle for 1/2 people. In 1994 the technology needed for the Dynamic Vehicle Control (the auto leveling tilting system) was ready, so the concept could be put into practise. Top Gear tested one in 2002/3 and so did Jensen Button in 2004 and in 2006 the Carver Group took over and then launched it at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, followed by assembly in Germany by ACÜ. However in 2009 due to financial difficulties, the high price tag and poor sales, production was stopped.
