Brief History About Caparo
Caparo Vehicle Technologies was founded in 2006 having purchased Freestream, a company which was founded in Britain by Graham Halstead and Ben Scott-Geddes, who had both worked on the McLaren F1 project and were designing a 2 seater sports car of their own.
Caparo itself was founded by Lord Paul who had interests in various engineering products. In 2004 they also acquired the long standing AP Braking company.
