Additional Info: The M3 is now a saloon only car, with the coupe being the M4. This new saloon uses the latest lightweight technologies to reduce weight, with carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) and aluminium for a number of chassis and body components and also features a carbon roof. The high revving 6 cylinder engine uses BMW’s M Twin-Power Turbo Technology with a very broad spread of torque throughout the rev range, with improved economy over the previous unit. An optional M Driver’s package will give a top speed closer to 174 mph. It also features track-specific elements, with extensive testing at the Nurburgring. 443bhp Competition Pack edition added in March 2016.
