Bizzarrini LogoBrief History About Bizzarrini

Bizzarrini was founded in Italy in 1964 by Giotto Bizzarrini. Giotto was an engineer, developer, designer and even a test driver and previously worked for ATS, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and ISO. His main desire was to build race cars, but due to a series of disasters some mechanical and others natural, it didn’t quite work out.

However in 1966, Bizzarrini released the 5300, 1900 GT Europa and P538S road cars, until production stopped in 1968, with 1969 marking the end of Bizzarrini as a car maker.

Since then Bizzarrini has been involved in various concepts, projects and replicas.
