Brief History About Artega
Artega Automobil was setup and founded by Klaus Dieter Frers in 2006 in Germany. The company built the Artega GT, that was designed by Henrik Fisker and first shown at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Later plans were to build electric sports cars, but unfortunately in 2010 due to financial difficulties, the project was essentially put on hold and in September 2012 production of the Artega GT was ceased after Artega filled for bankruptcy in July 2012. In October 2012 Artega was bought by Paragon AG, who have a Facebook page that promotes it racing Artega GT’s.
