I owned this car for around 5 years and was a member of the Classic Camaro Club. This Camaro was imported to the UK in 1976 and when I acquired the car in 2001, it required quite a bit of TLC.

The Camaro was and still is one of the most popular cars in the USA and has been seen in many movies (mostly used by the bad guys). However very few people recognise the name in the UK and quite often mistake it for a Trans Am, despite having numerous differences in it's appearance.

My Camaro ran a 5.7 litre V8 which was mildly tuned by a previous owner. It sported performance headers, a custom made exhaust system (you could hear this car coming before you saw it), electronic ignition, Moroso air filter, Holley carb and ran an electric Kenlowe fan. I did however have the 3 speed (TH350) rebuilt with a shift kit for crisper changes. Most of the work carried out by me was cosmetic, there was a lot of surface rust both outside and inside the car. I eventually had to stripe the interior and all exterior trim to sort this out, but I think you'll agree that the results were worth it.
