REBELL CPR S: Pretty in pink!

There’s no doubting the fact that the MINI Cooper S continues to score in the premium compact reference class with its popularity, image and handling dynamics. Just a few weeks after the 2021 series F56 Facelift model launched on the market, the MINI specialists at Maxi-Tuner.com, in cooperation with the BMW and MINI car dealership Karl & Co. in Mainz, are now rolling their interpretation of the new Cooper S to the starting position: The REBELL CPR S was once again significantly re-sharpened visually and technically – without compromising its technical stability and legality.

For example, Maxi-Tuner.com pushed the performance of the second Facelift version’s factory-set 178 hp strong 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo motor to a TÜV-approved [German Technical Inspection Association] 222 hp. In the export version, which is not approved for the German market, even 240 hp are possible. To that end, Maxi-Tuner.com provided the Cooper S with hardware upgrades in the form of a characteristically glimmering MaxAirRam carbon air intake system, as well as a MaxSound sports exhaust system made of high-grade stainless steel with 100-millimeter end pipes from which a strikingly roaring, but at the same time not too intrusive, sound escapes, in addition to the MaxPower additional control system that optimizes the engine characteristics.

Maxi-Tuner.com’s in-house CONQUISTADOR thread chassis for the MINI Cooper S is available in as many as three versions: In addition to the “sport plus” version installed in the REBELL CRP S, which turns the MINI into an absolute curve bandit, the more civil versions “sport” and “comfort” can also be selected – all three feature 20-step adjustable rebound dampening for an even more individualized setup.

The MINI Cooper S finds perfectly fitting shoes in the single-piece MaxWheel alloy wheels by Maxi-Tuner.com: On the project vehicle pictured, they are mounted all around in 8×18 inch, in combination with Hankook tires dimensioned at 215/35R18 – on the front axle in black and on the back axle in steel blue-gray. However, this color difference only becomes apparent on second glance, since the REBELL CPR S initially attracts the observer’s attention with its spectacular design film, which Maxi-Tuner.com conceived together with Karl & Co. MINI sales manager Marcus Krumm: For example, the threedoor vehicle that came off the production line in rooftop gray received a bow in glowing pink, which beyond the A column merges into a sky blue dot pattern before the tail shows the original paintwork. A special highlight: On the glossy black roof, a Union Jack was stylized using pink and blue film dots – the British flag has always been inseparably linked to the MINI brand.

In addition to the factory-installed John Cooper Works ornament, a MaxAero rear wing is enthroned on the vehicle tail; the rear wing is also available in two versions: With fixed air deflector, including approval, or adjustable as export version.
