| Additional Info: The prototype was introduced in 1976 and it's production was between 1981-82 in Ireland. The majority however where LHD for the American market. Stainless steel body. Very much underpowered. Made famous of course by the "Back to the future" films. The DeLorean is back in our future with a 2011/12 prototype electric version. This electric DeLorean in it's prototype form has a liquid cooled motor producing 260hp/360lbft and a claimed 0-60 of just 4.9 secs. |
