The second model to be made by British-based coachbuilder David Brown Automotive will take pride of place at The Confused.com London Motor Show alongside the manufacturer’s debut car, the classically-inspired Speedback GT.

The highly exclusive Mini Remastered is based on a classic Mini and is reborn into a city car for modern living, making it the perfect match for London life. The car boasts a reconditioned 1,275cc 78bhp/91lb ft engine and a four-speed gearbox, whilst the chassis and body panels are brand new and de-seamed, boasting perfect shutlines. Perfect for urbanites, the car’s standard offering comes with an in-built infotainment and navigation system and has a host of modern connectivity, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a four-speaker sound system, keyless-go, USB connectivity and charging, as well as push-button start and remote central locking.

Every Mini Remastered comes with a bespoke leather-lined luggage space and a petrol tank painted in each car’s contrasting roof colour. Mini Remastered come with an exceptional paint finish, with a full four-week paint process applied to every car to give it an equivalent flawless finish to that of the Speedback GT.

David Brown Automotive will also be exhibiting its revolutionary Speedback GT model for discerning show visitors to admire. The bespoke car boasts a 5-litre twin-scroll supercharged V8 engine, which delivers 510bhp and a 0-60mph time of 4.6 seconds. The Speedback GT’s top speed is limited to 155mph (250km/h).

David Brown Automotive uses a combination of engineering, state-of-the-art technology and traditional coachbuilding manufacturing techniques to build each car from its new HQ at Silverstone. The premium British car manufacturer is redefining modern coachbuilding, to build fully engineered, limited-edition, bespoke automobiles made from hand-formed aluminium with entirely handcrafted interiors, each specially commissioned by the customer.

Alec Mumford, Chairman of The Confused.com London Motor Show, said: “We are enormously proud to play host to the public UK debut of the Mini Remastered at The Confused.com London Motor Show. The car has attracted much attention from media and fans alike since its launch earlier this month and I am sure it will be a huge draw to discerning Londoners who will be visiting the show.

“This, alongside the truly unique Speedback GT, will amplify the UK’s core engineering base and showcase the latest work from the talented team at David Brown Automotive, whilst helping turn a few heads from show visitors. Both of these cars are sure to be crowd-pleasers at the show this spring!”
