| Additional Info: Chevrolet offered dealer upgrade kits in 3 stages for the supercharged Cobalt, getting power upto 260bhp (stage 3 was for track use only). Also available is a normally aspirated version with 173bhp (0-60 in 7.1, 1/4 mile in 15.6). In 2005 a wide body prototype was built with around 240bhp. In 2008 a turbocharged version was introduced with 260bhp/260ft-lb (0-60 in around 5.6 secs, 1/4 mile of around 14 secs), once again a dealer upgrade was available getting power upto 280bhp. A 4 door version became available in 2009. |
