Car Wheelies

Car wheelies, also known as wheel stands can be an amazing thing to see (if the car doesn't go out of control afterwards). I know it's not everyones cup of tea, but I got watching some of these video clips the other day and was amazed how far these cars travelled down the quarter mile and how high the front ends can get.

Many of the cars have wheelie bars that are designed to stop the car from flipping over. The car at Goodwood is designed to do wheelies, with it's engine mounted at the back. Also note that the word "wheelie car" as opposed to a car doing a wheelie, is also designed to do a wheelie.
