Additional Info: A complete change in body style over the 1st gen Camaro (now a fastback). Available in numerous base configurations and as an RS (Rally Sport), SS (Super Sport) and Z28 (Special Performance Package) above. The SS396 was the most powerful factory Camaro in 1970 with 375 gross hp.

Additional Info: A number of changes took place from 1973, with several different bumper types appearing and a change to the rear window. In 1977 the Z28 was back. In 1978 the Z28 gained a hood bulge/scoop. Some restyling upto 1981 kept the 2nd Gen Camaro going. A few special models were also built, such as the Yenko Turbo Z.
