Auto Vivendi acquire leading top-speed events company Vmax200Following the launch of its new brand identity on February 1st, private supercar members club, Auto Vivendi, has announced its acquisition of the premier high-speed driving events club Vmax200.

Established in 2002, Vmax200 was founded by oil broker, Craig Williams, when he and a group of like-minded petrolheads got together to put some of the world’s best supercars through their paces on a 2-mile straight runway.

What emerged from this meeting of minds was a driving experience company whose focus is on putting the fun back into driving, offering members the opportunity to gather at exhilarating invite-only events and see what their cars are capable of. In no other environment are you able to legally and safely unleash the full potential of your car, but out on the runway Vmax 200 gives you the chance to put your foot to the floor and see how fast your car can really go.

Auto Vivendi has announced that Vmax200 will now operate within the Auto Vivendi business, allowing members of both clubs the chance to enjoy individual club events and new dual-brand experience days starting with a Hypermax event at Bruntingthorpe later this spring.

Richard Thomas, Director of Auto Vivendi, said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome Vmax200 into the Auto Vivendi business and are excited about what the future holds now that these two dynamic brands have joined together.

“Both companies are committed to offering unparalleled driving experiences to our members and now that Vmax200 is part of Auto Vivendi, together we can offer our members and Vmax200’s own loyal customers some incredible opportunities for high speed experiences in 2014. Vmax200 really is the perfect match for Auto Vivendi and we look forward to sharing the benefits of this acquisition with new and existing members this year.”
