This was my first american car that I purchased at the tender age of 24 in the early-mid 90's. I really only went to look at it, but once I heard the engine, I had to have it.

Being quite young, this car was a lot of fun and turned heads everywhere. Lucky enough for my friends, I didn't drink and when going out I was always the allocated driver, which in all honestly didn't bother me. It meant I had an excuse to drive my car more often.

This Camaro was fitted with a 5.0 V8 TPi (tune port injection) engine and a TH350 auto transmission, which gave a reasonable performance to fuel economy mix.

This was also my daily driver and I even drove this in the snow - one of the scariest things I have ever done, as the kickdown on this was sometimes a little unpredictable. Still it was much fun in the wet and icey conditions, being able to spin the wheels at over 50mph!

I recently saw it up for sale on Ebay and would have like to have bought it back if it hadn't been for the fact it was for sale some 300+ miles away. Still regretting not doing so though!
